There are hundreds and hundreds of online poker sites in the market, and to decide arbitrarily the Top 10 Online Poker Rooms is next to impossible, and you know why? Unlike the rating of chess grandmasters, there is no universal rating mechanism that would gauge how good really a poker room is. If all that's necessary is for us to check the patronage numbers, it would be easy enough, but really, let me tell you this. Popularity alone is not enough (for me) to judge a room as one of the best ten, it is just one criterion, but there are other elements. Anyway, what I did just recently was this, I picked half a dozen review-focused sites, and picked the most consistent online rooms. Here they are- you can consider them as the Top 10 Online Poker Rooms if you wish, with some comments on a few of them.
CD Poker- they have some of the best S and G tourneys in the field.
Party Poker, Full Tilt Poker, Betfair Poker, PokerStars, Ladbrokes, Lucky Ace Poker, Mansion Poker, Tony G Poker.
Last but not the least, Absolute Poker: it has about eighteen thousand gamblers present during the busiest hours.
